#BCPWDRF no.1: Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? July 3rd, 2015

I know you’re all waiting with bated breath for the announcement of the first meeting of the Book Club for People Who Don’t Read Fast (#BCPWDRF). In my original post I hinted that the first meeting would be the last Friday of June. That obviously didn’t happen. Life intervenes etc. Irrelevant.

The official date of the first meeting of the #BCPWDRF is now set:

When: July 3rd, 2015 at 4pm PST
Where: Hangouts On Air

Participation is voluntary and does not require any kind of membership or other nonsense. Hangouts can take up to 10 participants, so this will be a first-come-first-serve type situation.

The only two requirements for this hangout is that you a) have read the book (or part of it), and b) behave like a human being. As the moderator I reserve the right to kick out anyone who decides to use this opportunity to be an asshole. Harsh, but it has to be said.

So, mark your calendars, read up, and I’ll see you all on Friday!

I would love to read along. Please pick the next book soon (you know, slow thing and all we need lots of lead time). Don’t be put off by the inappropriate weirdo.
